We have been on the road ALL SUMMER long. We kicked off our summer road trip with a drive to LaGrange, Georgia, to stay at Great Wolf Lodge for NCA Cheer Camp. It was such a fun trip and one you should definitely make, if given the opportunity.
After a few days back at home, Kyndall and I loaded up and made the drive south to Panama City Beach, Florida, by way of Shocco. Libby and Lila were at Shocco Springs for church camp and needed chauffering to Panama City Beach to stay with Lila’s family. OF COURSE, Kyndall and I made a mini-vacay out of it and stayed a few days at the beach.
We reserved rooms at Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City and it was super nice. The rooms themselves are just fancy hotel rooms–ours had a full-size fridge but no actual kitchen, double beds, and a bathroom. The property was really neat though. Holiday Inn Resort has 4 on-site restaurants, a lazy river, multiple swimming pools and hot tubs, and a kid’s water playground. They also have live entertainment in the evenings. We will definitely be booking rooms here again in the future!
We drove straight home from PCB and met Justin at the dealership to trade my Tahoe in for a JEEP! I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler FOREVER and have been looking for the last few months. Justin found one he thought I would love (and I did!) and we made the trade.
The following morning we left bright and early for Hilton Head Island, SC. Kyndall and Levi have chosen a wedding venue just outside of Hilton Head and visited for a design meeting and menu tasting. This trip deserves its own post, and it’ll be up soon =)
After Hilton Head, we stayed home for almost three whole days before traveling down to Orange Beach, Alabama, with my family. We try to do this every summer and I love the tradition. It, too, deserves its own post, so keep a watch for that!
I wouldn’t have made it all those miles (not comfortably, anyway!) without adidas. With it being as hot as it is outside, everyone has the AC cranked way up, and rightfully so. But add a little sunburn and that AC is FRIGID. I lived in these women’s hoodies from adidas on all our beach trips.
Stay tuned for detailed posts on Hilton Head and Orange Beach– and if you haven’t read about our cheer camp experience, find it here.
