You guys, Friday. Friday is the last day of the school year for us teachers and I think the angels will sing. Jen Hatmaker posted the absolute truth about May on her facebook page the other day. As a teacher AND a mother, I could ditto her words. Today, my mind is on summer, so I thought I would share a short and sweet list of things that I think are essential to our summer fun, especially with three kids.

A cute insulated cooler tote. For pool lunches and drinks and the likes.
This handy beach mat with strap. Big enough for everyone to sit on and heavy enough not to blow away with the wind.
This portable beach wagon–perfect for hauling supplies to the ballfield, toys and drinks to the beach, or kids around the block.
A travel hammock that can be set up super easily. I get so tickled at the kids using ‘eno’ as a verb, but they seriously have the right idea. I found several cute hammock options here and here.
A stack of books to read. On my list: The Murder House by James Patterson, The Last Mile by David Baldacci, The Crossing by Michael Connelly and Wild and Free by Hayley Morgan and Jess Connolly.
Now it’s your turn–tell me one thing that is essential to YOUR summer fun.
