Welcome to day two of Blog-tember, friends. It’s finally FRIDAY!! Can I get an AMEN for Friday, especially the Friday before a long weekend? I plan to do a whole lot of rest and recharging this weekend. I’m a big fan of setting goals, but I’ve slacked off on making them public. I like the accountability of knowing that you guys are with me and will hold me to my words.
Weekly meetings with Justin. Our life is so chaotic right now that I feel like I hardly even have time to talk to my husband. These weekly meetings may look like an old-fashioned date night or they may simply be sitting down to discuss house stuff after the kids go to bed, but I want to be more intentional about having this time together.
Daily quiet time. I was doing so great with my quiet time during the summer. Now that school is in full swing, I haven’t exactly fallen off the wagon, but I have missed more days that I care to admit. I specifically want my quiet time to be the first part of my day, before I do anything else.
Get moving. You guys, I am one of those weirdos who really does love to work out. Running and yoga are my go-to’s, but if I had to tell you the last time I’ve done either, I would have to do some major calculating. I am going to try really hard to get back into the groove 2-3 times a week. Just because I feel so much better when I am moving!
#SeptemberWhole30. Oh my gosh, I don’t even really want to list this on a public post for fear of failure. But honestly, I eat crap. I have the worst eating habits of anyone I know and it’s time to grow up. Beginning on Monday, I am starting the Whole 30 challenge. (I even roped my friend Leslie into doing it with me!) My goal is to eat healthier, but fingers crossed I can actually stick with the whole program!
How about you? What are your goals for September?

Best wishes on the Whole 30! I bet its hard but I have heard several friends swear by it! They’ve said it has helped them get healthier and feel better in the end. I am right there with you… I love my sweets and dairy… but unfortunately they don’t like me so I have needed to eliminate dairy and gluten for my stomach issues to improve. I give myself 1 cheat meal per week because I would be so sad without atleast a bit of those foods.

Thank you!! I’m hoping eating healthier gives me more energy. And you know I have already scheduled in my cheat meals ?
