Today’s post is short and sweet: an Easter 2017 recap in 300 words or less. (It was supposed to go up yesterday, but due to, um, “user error”, it’s posting today!)
Easter 2017 was celebrated without fancy “frocks”. In support of Forget The Frock, we purchased shirts that helped support the Schumer family adoption. This photo was taken with a fancy set-up of a barstool and some books, so please forgive the awkward angle 🙂
My mom hosted Easter at her house this year and we had quite the crew! We made the kids take a picture before they could hunt eggs, which is the only way this miracle even happened!
The girls were too quick for me to get pictures, but I was able to snap this one of Jase snatching up his eggs. He shook each one he picked up to see if it rattled with money!! I love these people. We have taken this picture for three years now and even though I am GENERATIONS older than all of them, they don’t make me feel like it!
Our Easter celebration was followed up with fishing and kayaking on the pond. Mal didn’t sign up to haul me around, but when I jumped in her kayak, there wasn’t much she could do about it! 🙂 Jase caught a fish as long as he is tall and the girls ended up swimming in the pond because they both suspiciously “fell” out of their kayaks.
All in all, it was a TERRIFIC Easter weekend!
