Happy Friday, friends! The cabinet guys are coming today to install our oven pantry, vent hood, and cabinet doors–YAY! Our own forever farmhouse is getting so much closer to completion. I have a full update planned for you next week, but today, I need your help organizing this farmhouse kitchen. (I’m sharing all these door-less photos because I thought that would be easier for you to tell what everything looks like, storage-wise!)
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw a few videos and photos of the installation process. If not, let me catch you up:
The island has pull-out trash cans in the center and full drawers on each side.
I have a confession: I don’t know what to do with all those cabinets! What goes where? I would LOVE your farmhouse kitchen organization help!
Leave a comment with the cabinet or drawer number(s) and what you think should go in that cabinet! I’ll be forever grateful 🙂
1 and 2 I would use for everyday dishes because it’s right above the dishwasher…this is what we did!
That’s what we do too. Makes unloading so much easier!
The number 5 cabinet in our house is used for those things that are not used very often:
serving platters, blender, cake stand, picnic basket/supplies, etc. If not #5 I just think it’s
good to have an inconvenient cabinet (one that’s really high or away from all the action)
designated for things that you need once in a blue moon.
That’s a great idea!
