We have been doing a whole lot of nothing around here lately and it has been absolutely wonderful. Basketball is over and between bed rest and a new baby and the freezing temperatures outside, we do not leave this house. Well, the girls leave to go to school, but that’s about it.
You know what’s great about being at home? I get to spend it with my people. Like, really spend it with them instead of running around doing crazy things. (All photos are straight from my iPhone, so please ignore crappy quality.)
We’ve played 723 games of Clue. Justin needed a little help, so Jase stepped up.
We’ve read books and watched tv and even played games on our iPads together (hello HayDay!).
We were proactive and got our Valentines ready before the night before the party.
Mal-Mal visited the girls for lunch at school. As usual, K ran out before a picture could be taken.
We worked together on Kyndall’s Valentine’s day box–it had to be movie themed and she chose Wall-E. I was so impressed with her creativity on this–she had all the pieces picked out and put together before I even found the brown paint!
K went to volleyball camp and made it in the news paper. Apparently, she needed a shoulder massage in the middle of all that hard work?
And I have cooked almost every single night. If you know me, or have read this blog any, you know that I deserve an award or something for that! Which leads me to say that I am out of dinner ideas, so please share any good but simple recipes in the comments below 🙂
