6:20 a.m. Breakfast for the girls. Waffles with butter, fresh peaches on the side, milk to drink.
6:50 a.m. Lunches packed and ready.
7:00 a.m. Outfits for the day.
7:10 a.m. Boys go in the laundry room for the day and we are walking out the door.
9:20 a.m. Fire alarm goes off at school. Definitely NOT a regular occurrence. Get everyone out. Fire trucks arrive within minutes. No fire, just dust in the alarm system. (Seriously?!?)
11:15 a.m. Book fair in the library. I’m super busy all day, and both girls’ classes come by for their preview times.
3:15 p.m. Leaving school. The girls stop by this fish tank everyday on our way out to check out the changes.
3:30 p.m. Homework. We do this as soon as we get home, so we have the rest of the evening for other things (soccer, tv, family time, etc.)
4:20 p.m. Early dinner of shrimp, toast, and fresh peaches. Got to get that nourishment in before soccer practice. =)
4:50 p.m. Justin and the girls are headed to soccer. Max watches them leave.
5:20 p.m. Soccer practice for Kyndall. Playtime at the park for Libby. (SO glad that the park is just feet away from where Kyndall practices!)
This is what you get when you ask Daddy to take pictures. He gets an A+ for effort, at least. |
6:00 p.m. Fun time for Mommy! This year, our faculty is having monthly outings. The outing for September–a painting party at school.
8:10 p.m. Bedtime for 2 tired girls. Multiple bathroom trips, multiple kisses, one quick drink pass, and FINALLY…. sleep.
9:00 p.m. Justin relaxes in front of the tv, I snuggle up in bed with Runners World and a new book from the book fair.
10:00 p.m. Lights out at the West house.
And that’s a wrap for Monday.
